What is a thin type ball valve, and what is its core structural feature?

The thin type ball valve is also called wafer thin ball valve. Its core feature is the ultra-short wafer integrated valve body, removing redundant flange structure of ordinary ball valves. The overall length is greatly shortened, with lightweight design. It is clamped directly between two pipe flanges during installation, which greatly reduces the occupied pipeline space. Our products adopt one-piece precision forging body, paired with floating ball structure, which is the most ideal valve for compact pipeline layout.

What material options do you provide for thin type ball valves, and their respective applicable working conditions?

We have three widely-used material choices for your selection:

WCB carbon steel: It works well with regular water, steam, oil and non-corrosive gas. Most clients pick it for heating pipelines, power station piping and ordinary industrial pipe systems.

CF8 / 304 stainless steel: It stands up to mild acid, mild alkali and everyday rust. It is a common pick for regular chemical production lines and wastewater treatment projects.

CF8M / 316L stainless steel: It performs great against chloride erosion, so it fits seawater, strong acid and heavily corrosive liquid. It is frequently installed on ship auxiliary pipelines and precision chemical facilities.

What pressure grades and caliber ranges can your thin type ball valves cover?

Nominal pressure: PN16, PN25, PN40 in national standard; ANSI Class150LB, Class300LB in American standard.

Nominal diameter covers DN15-DN200, complete conventional specifications in stock, and we support customized large-diameter non-standard products according to customer drawings. All specifications pass shell strength test and sealing leakage test strictly.

Does the ultra-thin body structure reduce pressure resistance and sealing performance?

Absolutely not. Our thin ball valve body is forged with high-density raw materials, and the wall thickness is calculated strictly in accordance with ASME B16.34 standard to ensure stable pressure bearing capacity. The valve seat adopts high-quality PTFE reinforced sealing material, with bidirectional sealing design. Under rated working pressure, long-term zero leakage can be guaranteed, and the switching torque is small, which can work stably under continuous medium pressure environment.

What drive modes can be matched for thin type ball valves?

Manual handle is the standard configuration. Meanwhile, we can match pneumatic actuator, electric actuator, hydraulic actuator according to customer demands to realize automatic remote control, which is convenient for automatic pipeline systems in large factories and projects.

All products are manufactured in accordance with ISO9001 quality management system, with CE certification and API certification. Before delivery, each valve will go through shell hydrostatic test, air tightness leakage test, switching fatigue test and appearance inspection. Unqualified products will be eliminated directly to ensure all exported products meet international industrial standards.
