What's the difference between Y-shaped filter and Basket Strainer?
Y-shaped filters are small, compact and suitable for small-diameter pipelines. They are easy to install and maintain, used for general impurity filtration.
Basket filters are large-capacity, suitable for large-diameter main pipelines. They have high dirt holding capacity and are ideal for media with many impurities.
We can also offer filters in different pressure ratings, including ANSI 150LB, PN10, PN16 and PN25.
Y-shaped filters have flange and threaded connections. We provide filter screens with various mesh sizes.
The filter body can be carbon steel WCB, cast iron or stainless steel CF8/CF8M, and the screen is made of 304/316 stainless steel.
