What are the limits and specs of WCB valves?
Our Wcb globe valves follow ASME and GB standard specs, with pressure classes from Class 150 up to Class 1500. Working temperature ranges from -29°C to 425°C without losing structural stability. All our Wcb globe valves are fully produced at our factory in Wenzhou, China, with in-house machining and strict quality testing. They control and block media flow on pipelines carrying steam, oil, gas and clean industrial water. Common application sites include power plants, petrochemical refineries, heating stations and general process industrial pipelines.
How do they compare to WCC or Stainless Steel (CF8M)?
WCB stands up well to high temperatures, which makes it ideal for steam and hot fluid piping. WCC, on the other hand, works best for low-temperature applications. When stacked against CF8M stainless steel, WCB carbon steel costs a lot less while still handling high pressure reliably. The tradeoff is CF8M resists corrosive chemicals and fluids, whereas WCB will corrode in those harsh environments.For regular high-temp non-corrosive working conditions, WCB globe valves are the more practical cost-saving pick.
What structure design does your Wcb globe valve adopt?
Our WCB globe valve uses a bolted bonnet and parabolic disc structure. This design achieves accurate flow adjustment and tight shut-off, and the split structure also brings great convenience for daily disassembly and maintenance without removing the whole valve from pipelines.
What certifications do your Wcb globe valves have?
All our WCB globe valves pass strict factory inspection and hold complete ISO, CE and API certificates. Every finished valve will go through shell pressure test and seat sealing test before delivery to meet international industrial project standards.

Does WCB globe valve have installation direction?
Yes, strictly install by the flow arrow on valve body (medium flows from under disc to upper side). Reverse installation will cause poor sealing, heavy operation torque and medium backflow. Valve stem must keep vertical.
Can I use wrench to force the handwheel for opening/closing?
Forbidden. Over torque will bend valve stem, crack bonnet or damage internal sealing parts. Operate handwheel slowly and gently.
How to extend service life of WCB globe valve?
1. Lubricate valve stem quarterly for flexible movement;
2. Re-tighten flange bolts after high temperature heating;
3. Regularly open & close standby valves to prevent internal rust;
4. Check stem packing and flange gasket leakage monthly.
