What are the key standards for these valves?

All our valves follow ANSI American standards. Main specifications cover ASME B16.34 for valve pressure-temperature rating, ASME B16.5 for flange dimensions, API 598 for leakage and pressure testing. The body material WCB complies with ASTM A216 standard to fit high temperature working conditions.

What are the common pressure ratings (Classes)?

Class 150, Class 300 and Class 600 are our regular grades. Class 150 fits general heating and water pipelines. Class 300 and Class 600 suit high-pressure steam, thermal oil and chemical pipelines with stricter working parameters. Custom higher classes can be made upon your request.

What applications are they best for?

They fit thermal power stations, refineries, heating systems and thermal oil circulation pipelines. These sites often need to tweak flow speed and pressure regularly, which matches the throttling feature of ANSI globe valves. They also work well on steam and hot oil delivery lines.

Can they be used for both flow regulation and shut-off?

Yes, this is their biggest advantage over gate valves. You can turn the handwheel to adjust medium flow and pressure smoothly for fine control. When fully closed, the metal sealing surface provides tight shutoff to cut off fluid completely. They are not recommended to stay half-open for long-term service though.

What are the standard flange types available?

Raised Face (RF) flanges come as our standard configuration for most regular orders. This design fits general medium and low pressure pipelines, easy for installation and gasket matching, widely used for Class 150 and Class 300 valves.

For tough high-temperature, high-pressure working conditions starting from Class 600, we offer RTJ ring joint flanges as an alternative choice. Equipped with metal ring gaskets, these flanges seal far better and avoid fluid leaks even under extreme heat and pressure.

If your project has unique piping matching needs, we can also produce other ANSI flange styles including FF flat face, to fit the existing flanges installed on your pipelines.
