What are the core standards and dimensions?

We make this Carbon Steel National Standard Flange Globe Valve. We adopt GB/T 12235 for valve design, GB/T 12221 for overall length sizes and GB/T 9113 for national standard flanges. We have complete sizes DN15 to DN1200, and pressure grades PN16, PN25, PN40, PN63, PN100 to match most industrial pipe projects.

What are the typical operating limits?

This carbon steel globe valve maintains stable safe operation within a working temperature range of -29℃ to 425℃. When operating under its matching nominal pressure class, it retains consistent tight sealing without leakage, and the integral valve structure stays intact and deformation-free. It holds steady performance during round-the-clock continuous industrial operation, coping with frequent opening and closing cycles as well as fluctuating working temperatures.

What is it used for?

This valve is designed for two key onsite functions: fine flow regulation and full pipeline isolation. It works perfectly with water, fuel oil, natural gas, steam and a wide range of common industrial process fluids. You can commonly find it installed on pipeline networks for chemical factories, petrochemical processing lines, thermal power stations, wastewater treatment facilities and general manufacturing workshops, effectively controlling medium delivery in all kinds of medium and high temperature industrial systems.

Why choose carbon steel?

We use A216 WCB carbon steel to cast the valve body. This material has strong hardness, good pressure resistance and can handle high temperature well. It won’t deform easily under harsh working conditions, the price is affordable and service life is long, so it’s the most popular choice for regular industrial globe valves.

What media can it handle? Any media to avoid?

Suitable for clean water, steam, thermal oil, compressed air, light oil. Not for strong acid/alkali high-corrosion fluid; avoid medium with massive solid particles which scratch sealing surface.

Why pick globe valve instead of gate valve for steam line?

Globe valve supports adjustable opening for accurate throttling & pressure control. Gate valve only works full open/full close without regulating function. Globe valve has tighter sealing under high temp steam and avoids pipeline water hammer.         

Key points for flange mounting?

Clean flange sealing surface to clear welding slag and rust; use matched GB graphite/PTFE gasket; tighten bolts symmetrically evenly to prevent flange leakage; do not over-torque to crush gasket.

Does globe valve have installation direction limit?

Yes. Install following the flow arrow on valve body (media flow from under disc to above disc). Reverse mounting causes poor sealing, hard operation and backflow. Stem must stay vertical during installation.
