What is a Stainless Steel 316 Flanged Globe valve?

The Stainless Steel 316 Flanged Globe valve is a high-performance industrial pipeline valve with flange connection ends, adopting linear up-and-down motion to realize fluid cut-off and flow throttling control. The entire valve body, valve disc, valve stem and core components are forged/cast from authentic ASTM A316L stainless steel material. Unlike regular valves, this globe valve adjusts flow very accurately and seals tightly with great anti-corrosion performance. It’s engineered for corrosive, high heat and high pressure pipe lines, ideal for regulating liquids, gas and steam under tough industrial working environments.

What media can this valve handle?

This Stainless Steel 316 Flanged Globe valve is compatible with a wide range of corrosive and conventional industrial media, including industrial water, purified water, saturated steam, high-temperature steam, light oil, diesel, natural gas, industrial gas, weak sulfuric acid, weak hydrochloric acid, alkaline solution, brine, seawater and various corrosive fluid mixtures. It is universally applicable for most conventional industrial fluid control scenarios. Not applicable for concentrated strong oxidizing acids, strong corrosive chemical solvents and ultra-high purity corrosive media; for such special media, customized high-grade sealing materials and valve body polishing treatment are required to ensure service life and sealing stability.

What standard do your flanges follow?

To match pipeline installation requirements of different countries and regions around the world, our valve flanges strictly comply with four mainstream international standards: American ANSI, German DIN, Japanese JIS and Chinese GB. Each standard corresponds to matched flange diameter, bolt hole spacing and sealing surface size, ensuring perfect docking with local pipeline systems. Meanwhile, we support customized non-standard flange drilling, special sealing surface types (RF, FF, RJ) and size modification, which can meet personalized engineering installation needs of special projects.

Is this valve for full shut-off or throttling use?

This flanged globe valve integrates dual functions of complete fluid shut-off and precise flow throttling regulation. Different from gate valves which are only suitable for full open and full close operation, globe valves adopt a curved flow channel and vertical opening and closing structure, which can stably adjust the fluid flow and pressure in the pipeline by controlling the opening degree of the valve disc. It has excellent throttling performance and stable adjustment accuracy, no obvious flow fluctuation. It is suitable for both pipeline cut-off maintenance and automatic flow regulation in production processes, and is more adaptable to variable working condition scenarios than gate valves and ball valves.

What is the valve sealing material?

We adopt graded matching sealing materials according to different working temperatures and media conditions to ensure zero leakage and long service life. The standard matching sealing types include PTFE soft seal, graphite packing seal and stainless steel hard seal. PTFE soft seal features zero leakage, good corrosion resistance and low friction, suitable for normal temperature, low pressure and corrosive fluid working conditions; graphite high-temperature seal is resistant to high temperature and aging, applicable for high-temperature steam pipelines; stainless steel hard seal has high pressure resistance and wear resistance, perfect for high-temperature, high-pressure and impurity-containing fluid industrial scenarios, realizing durable tight sealing. Works reliably for high temp, high pressure media with impurities, maintaining long-term tight sealing.
