What materials are used?

Our Stainless Steel Globe Valves Flanged End come with SS304 or SS316 cast bodies as standard. All internal discs, stems and seats are made of matching stainless steel for uniform anti-rust performance. We supply PTFE soft seals for general clean media and Stellite hardfaced seals for high-temperature or frequent cycling working conditions. The full stainless steel construction effectively withstands moisture, oxidation and mild acid/alkaline fluids.

What are the common standards and pressure ratings?

We make this valve following ASME B16.34 for design and pressure tests, and flanges are built to ASME B16.5. Normal pressure grades run Class 150 through Class 600, which works for most medium-pressure industrial piping. We stock sizes NPS ½ to NPS 24, and we’re able to craft custom odd sizes if your project has special needs.

What is a Stainless Steel Flanged Globe Valve?

It’s a linear stroke regulating & shut-off valve with stainless steel cast body and flanged connection ends. It realizes precise flow throttling and full pipeline cut-off, widely used for corrosive, clean and high-purity medium pipelines.

What media can this valve handle? Any unsuitable fluid?

Applicable media: Seawater, dilute acid, alkali solution, purified water, steam, oil, compressed air, chemical solvent, food-grade liquid.

Not recommended: High-concentration strong hydrofluoric acid, molten alkali metal; media with large hard solid particles will scratch sealing surface.

Does the globe valve have installation direction?

A: Yes, strictly follow the flow arrow cast on valve body (medium flows under disc to top). Reverse installation leads to poor sealing, heavy operation torque and medium backflow. Valve stem must keep vertical during installation.

How to maintain stainless steel flanged globe valve to extend service life?

1. Coat anti-rust oil on valve body surface regularly;

2. Lubricate stainless steel stem quarterly to prevent jamming;

3. Re-tighten flange bolts after high temperature heating;

4. Flush internal pipeline before long-term shutdown to avoid corrosive medium residue;

5. Regular open-close test for standby valves to prevent internal sticking.
