The Stainless Steel API Flanged Gate Valve mainly consists of key parts including valve body, bonnet, gate disc, stem, handwheel (or actuator) and flange. Its core structural design complies with American standards to ensure stable operation.

Working Principle

Rotating the handwheel (or driving the actuator) lifts and lowers the valve stem, thereby controlling the opening and closing of the gate disc and seat. When the gate disc is fully open, media flows through the full bore without obstruction with minimal pressure drop. When fully closed, it fits tightly with the seat to achieve reliable shut-off.

Gate Disc

Valve Stem
