What’s the advantage of API standard globe valves over ordinary globe valves?

This globe valve is manufactured in strict accordance with API industrial standards for petroleum and chemical pipelines. Its wall thickness, sealing structure, pressure-bearing capacity and material inspection standards are far more rigorous than regular common valves. It can endure long-term high pressure, frequent opening and closing and impact from medium flow, and meets the certification requirements of oil, gas and large chemical projects. Ordinary valves only meet general water supply and drainage standards and cannot pass strict API engineering acceptance.

What types of medium can this stainless steel API globe valve transport?

The stainless steel valve body delivers outstanding anti-rust and anti-corrosion performance. It can safely convey crude oil, natural gas, high-temperature steam, industrial circulating water, seawater, brine, weak acid and weak alkaline chemical liquids. It is not suitable for highly concentrated strong oxidizing corrosive media; if you need to transport such special fluids, we can customize mirror polishing and special resistant sealing components for you.

Is this Stainless Steel API Flanged Globe valve used for complete shutoff or flow regulation only?

It has dual functions of full cut-off and precise flow throttling, which is its core feature different from ball valves. The built-in adjustable trim can change the flow area stably. You can fine-tune the medium flow speed and pipeline pressure without sudden flow surges. When fully closed, it achieves reliable tight shutoff to isolate pipelines for equipment overhaul and maintenance.

What pressure classes and temperature ranges does this Stainless Steel API Flanged Globe valve support?

We supply mainstream API pressure grades: Class 150, 300, 600,900,1500. The applicable working temperature spans from -29℃ to 425℃. Stainless steel maintains stable mechanical toughness under low-temperature environments and will not deform or lose pressure resistance under long-term high-temperature working conditions.

What flange specifications can you produce?

The standard configuration is API ANSI raised face (RF) flanges. Flat face (FF) flanges are optional upon request. If your on-site pipeline uses non-standard bolt hole spacing, special outer diameter or thickness, we can reprocess the flange drilling size according to your drawings to achieve perfect matching with your pipes.

What sealing options are available for different working conditions?

Three mature sealing schemes for diverse working scenarios:

PTFE soft seal: Zero leakage, low friction and good corrosion resistance, suitable for normal temperature and low-pressure corrosive liquid pipelines

Flexible graphite seal: Excellent high temperature and anti-aging performance, the best choice for long-running high-temperature steam pipelines

Metal hard seal assembly: Strong wear resistance and high pressure resistance, applicable to high-pressure medium containing tiny solid particles, keeping stable sealing effect for years of continuous operation.

What testing procedures will every valve pass before delivery?

We implement full individual inspection instead of random sampling for all finished valves. Mandatory tests include shell hydrostatic pressure strength test, internal and external air tightness test, sealing performance test and opening-closing flexibility test. Complete material test certificates and API standard inspection reports can be provided to you free of charge on request.

Why choose flanged connection instead of threaded API globe valve?

API flanged connection has a larger sealing contact surface, stronger overall pressure resistance and far more stable tightness under high temperature and high pressure, effectively preventing medium leakage. The installation, disassembly and daily maintenance work are simpler without auxiliary sealing tape. It is designed for heavy-duty main industrial pipelines with long continuous running hours, while threaded valves are only fit for small-bore, low-pressure auxiliary pipelines.
