Non-rising Stem and Rising Stem Manual Globe valve
Huadu Valve Group is based in Wenzhou, China, supplying reliable industrial valves of great quality. Our star products, Non-rising Stem & Rising Stem Manual Globe Valves, are built with sturdy stainless steel and carbon steel options, offering stable structural strength and broad temperature adaptability. Built with flanged ends and precision regulating internal trim, they seal tightly, adjust flow steadily and operate with light handwheel force. They fit chemical plants, steam pipelines, water treatment and energy engineering projects perfectly.
We are a professional valve maker holding ISO and API certifications. We own advanced production equipment and a full set of quality control systems. We also accept OEM and ODM orders, with flexible minimum order quantities. Our durable manual globe valves are shipped to markets worldwide and gain consistent positive feedback from all partners.

What is the main difference between Non-rising Stem and Rising Stem Manual Globe valves?
For rising stem type, the valve stem moves up and down together with the disc when opening or closing. You can directly judge the open/closed status by seeing how far the stem sticks out, which makes daily inspection very easy.
For non-rising stem design, the stem only spins in place without extending outward. The internal thread drives the disc to move. It takes much less vertical space, ideal for pipelines installed in narrow pits, underground cabinets or limited-height areas.
What materials do you supply for these two kinds of manual globe valves?
We provide carbon steel WCB and stainless steel 304 / 316L options. WCB suits steam, oil and common industrial fluid with high temperature demand. Stainless steel versions perform better against seawater, brine and weak corrosive chemicals. All castings go through strict material testing before machining.
Can both Non-rising Stem and Rising Stem Manual Globe valves control flow besides shut-off?
Yes, both designs support precise flow adjustment and full pipeline cut-off. Their internal trim structure lets you partially open the valve to stabilize medium flow and pipe pressure, not just fully open or fully close like ball valves. They are widely used on lines needing constant flow control.
What pressure and temperature can these manual globe valves handle?
Standard pressure grades cover PN16, PN25, PN40 and Class 150, 300. Working temperature ranges from -29°C up to 425°C. WCB material works well for high-temperature steam systems, while stainless steel maintains stable performance in low-temperature corrosive media.
Which flange standards are available?
We produce flanges complying with ANSI, DIN, GB and JIS standards. RF raised face and FF flat face sealing surfaces are both optional. If your site has special bolt hole requirements, we can adjust flange drilling size according to your drawings.
What sealing choices do you offer for different working media?
Three common sealing types for selection:
PTFE soft seal: zero leakage, fit for normal-temperature corrosive liquid;
Graphite packing seal: high temperature resistant, best match for steam pipelines;
Metal hard seal: wear resistant, used for high-pressure fluid with tiny solid impurities.
What sizes are in stock, and can you make custom sizes?
Regular sizes DN15 to DN300 are kept in stock for fast delivery. For oversized sizes above DN300 or non-standard bore, we accept full custom production. Every dimension will be double checked before packing and shipment.
What industrial scenarios fit these Non-rising Stem and Rising Stem Manual Globe valves?
They are widely used in power stations, chemical factories, heating steam systems, water treatment plants and oil-gas supporting pipelines. Rising stem types are preferred for above-ground pipelines with easy inspection access. Non-rising stem versions are more popular for underground buried pipes and compact equipment rooms.
Do you support OEM and personalized custom work?
We take flexible OEM and ODM orders to match your project demands. We can laser engrave your brand logo on valve bodies, adjust pressure and temperature ratings, replace sealing materials for special fluids, redesign handwheel shapes, and modify internal parts as you request. Custom export packaging is also available.
How about your delivery time?
Standard valves from stock can be dispatched within 3–7 working days for urgent projects. Custom-made valves and large bulk orders take roughly 30 to 40 working days. We will confirm a fixed delivery schedule with you before placing the order based on your quantity and factory production plan.
Why pick globe valve over ball valve for flow regulation?
Ball valves only work well under fully open or fully closed state; partial opening will lead to severe erosion on sealing surfaces. Globe valves have specially curved internal flow passages, which reduce impact on seals during throttling. They hold stable performance for long-term frequent flow adjustment work.
